Just finished reading Scarpetta by Patricia Cornwell. It is the authors 16th book in a line of murder mysteries. The series begins with Chief Medical Examiner Kay Scarpetta serving the Richmond, VA area then moving several times during her career ending up in Boston, MA. This book takes place in New York City where she is asked to solve a string of serial killings.A highly recommended murder mystery line of books.

I've enjoyed that entire series, too. I'll read that one when it comes out in paperback.
We both read her books! Many years ago we went to the FBI conference where she was the speaker -we didn't even know who she was then! Alas, only DH was allowed to hear her -but he was so impressed that we went right out and bought her 1st book!
