Girl's Beach Weekend

The second weekend in April, three girlfriends and I headed down to Wilmington, NC for the Azalea Festival. Saying we had a blast would be an understatement! We decided to do the Home Tour this year. We went in 5 of the 9 homes on display and got a couple of good decorating ideas.

We stay in Southport, NC at "D's" in-laws home. Mom "J" is such a gracious hostess and ensures you will have a good time.

On Saturday, we did a little shopping in Southport and had lunch at "Fishy Fishy" (right on the marina).

Sunday, on the way back home, we stopped in Wrightsville Beach, NC for lunch at The Oceanic. We sat out on the pier...enjoyed our lunch...and the views! Thanks girls for a great weekend! :-)

New...

So I haven't been blogging lately...nothing really to say. I was actually thinking about stopping completely but then I learned I have at least one person who reads my blog so I will post something just for her! :-) Thought I would start with a new blog design....it's OK for now. Might change it up again at some point.

My dad & my brother in law celebrated their birthdays the end of March. My mom, sister & I went in together and got them tickets to the Coca Cola 600 in Charlotte. They are very excited!

We took them out for lunch at Hillbilly Hideaway. Very much a country, southern cooking type of place. But the food was so good!!
